How do I assign a photo to a gallery?

You can assign any photo to a gallery — or change the assignment anytime. Photos without a gallery stay in the "All" section.

How to do it

1. Open the photos area (/dashboard/media)
2. Click the photo you want to assign
3. The edit panel opens (right side or fullscreen on mobile)
4. In the "Gallery" field, pick your gallery from the dropdown
5. Click "Save" at the bottom of the panel
6. Done — the photo is assigned

Create a new gallery

If you don't have a gallery yet:

1. Go to Galleries (/dashboard/categories)
2. Click "New gallery"
3. Enter a name (e.g. "Fashion 2026")
4. Save
5. Now you can assign photos

Assign during upload

You can also pick the gallery during upload — then all uploaded photos go directly in. See batch upload.

Switch galleries

To move a photo to another gallery:

1. Open the photo edit panel
2. Pick the new gallery from the dropdown
3. Save — the photo is moved

The photo is not duplicated — it's in exactly one gallery or the "All" section.

Batch assignment

Currently you assign photos individually. Batch assignment is planned — write to us if you urgently need it.

What if I don't pick a gallery?

No problem — the photo is just in the main list, not in a sub-gallery. On your public portfolio it's still shown.
