What is publicly visible and what stays private?

LACOP is transparent: you control what's publicly visible. Here's the clear separation.

✅ Publicly visible

This appears on your portfolio and is accessible to anyone:

Profile data

  • Display name (first and last)
  • Bio and about text
  • Profile image / avatar
  • Slug / portfolio URL
  • Social links (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat)
  • Agencies (name, city, URL)
  • Custom links (paid plans only)
  • Contact email (when set and not hidden)
  • Role (model / photographer / creative / agency)

Photos & galleries

  • All visible photos (not hidden)
  • All visible galleries
  • Titles, descriptions, photographer credit, shooting date

🔒 Private — only you see it

This stays in your account and is never public:

Account data

  • Login email (the email you sign in with)
  • Password (we can't see it either — stored hashed)
  • 2FA codes and backup codes
  • Stripe customer ID and billing
  • Invoices and payment history

Hidden content

  • Hidden photos (via visibility toggle)
  • Hidden galleries
  • These are visible to you in the dashboard but not on your public portfolio

Internal data

  • Upload date of photos (stored internally)
  • File size and technical metadata
  • IP address at login (for security)
  • User agent (browser, device)

Onboarding data

  • Terms acceptance with date and IP
  • Legal consent record (GDPR requirement)

⚙️ You can control

These things you can make public or hide:

  • Individual photosvisibility toggle
  • Whole gallerieshide gallery
  • Contact email → leave empty if you don't want it public
  • Custom links → only add what you want to show

Who sees the public portfolio?

Anyone on the internet who has your link. LACOP doesn't (yet) have a password protection feature for whole portfolios. If you want to be absolutely private, you need a different setup.

Planned features:

  • Password-protected galleries (Pro+, in development)
  • Private portfolio (not planned)

GDPR / data export

You can export all your data in settings:

  1. SettingsData & legal
  2. Download export → JSON file

It contains all private and public data in machine-readable form (GDPR Art. 20).

Delete account

To delete all data: Settings → Delete account. Photos, profile and galleries are deleted. Legal consent data is kept for legal reasons.
