How do I change my contact email?

You have two email addresses on LACOP: your login email (for account access) and your contact email (for inquiries on your portfolio).

How to change the contact email

1. Open Profile (/dashboard/profile)
2. Find the "Contact email" field
3. Enter the desired email (e.g. booking@ariamodel.com)
4. Save

The contact email doesn't have to be the same as your login email.

Why separate emails?

Security

• Login email: Private, for authentication only — nobody should see it
• Contact email: Public on your portfolio, for inquiries

Organization

• Bookings / inquiries land in a separate inbox
• Your private inbox isn't flooded with spam

Professionalism

• A professional address (booking@ariamodel.com) looks better than aria1998@gmail.com

Where is it shown?

On your public portfolio:

• As a contact button in the header or footer
• In a dedicated "Contact" section (depending on theme)
• Sometimes as a clickable mailto: link

Leave contact email empty?

If you don't want to set a contact email, leave the field blank. Your public portfolio then shows no email button.

Alternative: use custom links for a contact form or Calendly.

Own email domain?

From the Pro plan we're planning an email add-on option where you get emails under your own domain (@yourname.com). More when the feature is available.

Anti-spam protection

LACOP doesn't embed the email as plain text — it uses subtle anti-scraping methods to reduce spam. Still: expect some spam, that's normal for publicly shown addresses.
