How do I add custom links?

Custom links are free-form links to external websites — for anything that doesn't fit social media or agencies.

How to do it

1. Open Profile (/dashboard/profile)
2. Scroll to the "Custom links" section
3. Click "+ Add link"
4. Fill in: label (the text shown) + URL
5. Save

Free users: This feature isn't available for you. Upgrade to Starter to use custom links.

Examples: what to add?

For models

• Polaroids → link to a PDF
• Video reel → Vimeo / YouTube
• Mother agency profile → Modellista / Models.com
• Press kit → PDF download

For photographers

• Behance portfolio
• Vimeo showreel
• Tumblr / blog
• Price list (PDF)
• Press / publications

For creatives

• Dribbble
• GitHub (for developer creatives)
• Spotify (for musicians)
• Book online (Calendly)
• Product shop

Label tips

The label is the visible text. Make it:

• Short (1-3 words)
• Clear ("Showreel", not "My latest video 2026")
• Active ("Book Call", "Download Press Kit")

Good labels

• ✅ "Showreel"
• ✅ "Press Kit"
• ✅ "Book a Call"
• ✅ "Behance"

Bad labels

• ❌ "Click here" (meaningless)
• ❌ "More info about me on this page" (too long)

Order

Custom links show in the order you added them. Add priority links first.

URL rules

• URLs must start with http:// or https://
• No relative paths (/my-page)
• LACOP opens custom links in a new tab (so your portfolio stays open)

Delete a link

Click the trash icon next to the link → Save.

Security

Only link websites you trust. Visitors click on your name — if the link leads to a spam site, it hurts your reputation.
