How do I add a photo description?
The description gives your photo context — who, when, where, how. It appears on your public portfolio under the photo.
How to do it
- Open Photos (
/dashboard/media) - Click the photo
- In the edit panel find the "Description" field
- Write your text
- Click "Save"
Limits
- Max 1000 characters
- Can be empty
- Line breaks are preserved
- HTML is shown as text (not interpreted)
What belongs in the description
- Shoot context — where, when, with whom
- Creative decision — why this look, this location
- Client reference — for which client, campaign
- Team credits — photographer, MUA, stylist, location
- Technical details (optional) — lens, setup, lighting
