How do I set my password for the first time?
After clicking the magic link you land on the "Set password" page. There you set your personal password — LACOP never knows it.
Step by step
- Open the magic link from your welcome email
- You land on the password page
- Enter your new password in both fields (once to confirm)
- Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy via checkbox
- Click "Save & continue"
- You're automatically redirected to the dashboard
Password requirements
Your password must at minimum:
- Be 12 characters long
- Include at least 1 uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Include at least 1 lowercase letter (a-z)
- Include at least 1 digit (0-9)

Tips for a secure password
- Use a password manager like Bitwarden, 1Password or iCloud Passwords
- Use your LACOP password only for LACOP — no recycling from other sites
- Longer is better than more complex: a passphrase like
Cat!Dances2026is very secure and easy to remember
Why do I have to accept the Terms?
