How does the first login with the magic link work?

After signup we send you a magic link by email. It's a single-use link that logs you in without a password — and then you set your own.

How to use the link correctly

1. Open the email from support@lacop.app with the subject "Your LACOP access"
2. Click the button "Log in now"
3. You land on a confirmation page — click "Sign in now" there
4. Set your password and accept the Terms
5. Done — you're in the dashboard

Important: the link only works once

For security reasons, the magic link is single-use. If you open it a second time, it's invalid.

What to do if the link doesn't work?

• Email client preview: Some email clients open links in the background to generate previews. That can "consume" the link before you click. Solution: open the email on a device where previews are disabled, or request a new link
• Link already clicked: If you've opened the link before, it's used. Request a new one via "Forgot password?" on the login page
• Link expired: The link is valid for 24 hours. After that you need a new one
