Where do I find my invoices?

All your LACOP invoices are managed by Stripe — our payment provider. You can view them anytime and download as PDF.

How to do it

  1. Open Settings (/dashboard/settings)
  2. Scroll to the "Plan & billing" section
  3. Click "View invoices" or "Open Stripe portal"
  4. You land in the Stripe Customer Portal
  5. Click "Invoices"
  6. You see a list of all past invoices
  7. Click an invoice → "Download PDF"

What's on a LACOP invoice?

  • Invoice date
  • Invoice number (generated by Stripe)
  • LACOP company data (Lacop Studio OG, Herderstraße 40, 4600 Wels, Austria, VAT)
  • Your address (if you provided it)
  • Service: LACOP plan (Free/Starter/Pro/Premium) + period
  • Amount (net)
  • VAT (20% in Austria, 0% for EU reverse charge)
  • Total

Invoices by email

After each payment Stripe sends you an automatic invoice by email to your stored address. The email contains:

  • Invoice as PDF attachment
  • Link to Stripe portal for more downloads
  • Payment details

If you don't receive invoice emails:

  • Check spam folder
  • Update email address in Stripe portal
  • Contact support@lacop.app

Change billing address

If you need a new address (move, company change):

  1. Open Stripe portal
  2. Profile / AccountEdit billing address
  3. Enter new address
  4. Save

Important: This only changes future invoices. Old invoices keep the old address (legally required).

Add VAT ID

For business customers (EU, outside Austria):

  1. Stripe portalProfile
  2. Add Tax ID or VAT ID
  3. From the next invoice onward reverse charge is applied (0% VAT)

Already paid invoices are not adjusted retroactively — that would need to go through us.

Invoices for past years

Stripe keeps invoices permanently. You'll find invoices from 2+ years ago still in the portal.

For accountant / bookkeeping:

  • Batch download all invoices of a year is possible in Stripe portal
  • Or: export list as CSV

Change payment method

If your card expired or you want to switch payment methods:

  1. Stripe portal
  2. Payment methods
  3. Add new card / SEPA
  4. Remove old method or set inactive

Payment problems

If a payment fails:

  • You get a warning by email
  • Stripe automatically retries 3x over 2 weeks
  • If it doesn't work, your plan is automatically downgraded
  • You can update the payment method in the portal anytime

Invoice as business expense

LACOP invoices are full business invoices — you can submit them for taxes if you use your portfolio professionally.

Talk to your tax advisor about how to write off the costs — usually as "operating expense marketing" or "software subscription".
